What are Queensland Transport (QT) requirements for Learner Drivers:
- The learner must be at least 16 years of age
- Study the "Your Keys to Driving In Queensland", issued by QT - Available FREE from the QT website www.transport.qld.gov.au/home/licensing/learn_to_drive
- Pass a knowledge test (QT fees apply) Practice test https://www.service.transport.qld.gov.au/rrtexternal/SelectExam.jsp
- Evidence of Identity (EOI) required (e.g. Full Birth Certificate or Passport, CBA credit card, Medicare card, proof of home address)
- Obtain a Learner's Licence
- Contact Olympic Driving School and begin lessons (must complete 100 hours of supervised driving, 10 hours with a driver trainer = 30 hours in your logbook - only for first 10 hours)
- Complete 100 hours of supervised driver training and after you reach 17 years of age ensure Logbook filled out correctly, sign and send to Queensland Transport
- Pay Test Booking Fee
- Contact Olympic Driving School and arrange Practical Driving Test
